French wedding in Beaujolais

Being able to travel and experience other cultures is one of the things I enjoy about being a wedding photographer. Last summer I had the opportunity to shoot a multicultural wedding in the beautiful surroundings of the Beaujolais area near Lyon, France.

The wedding took place at the beautiful Domaine de la Ruisselière villa near the village of Lacenas. Inés and Pepijn are a couple living in Dubai. Inés is from France and has Algerian roots, Pepijn is Dutch so it was a mix of several cultures.

The traditional henna tattoo was not to be missed.

The perfect blending of these cultures was greatly helped by the amazing wedding planner Cécile from D Day Wedding Planner and her team who helped to put together this incredible day.

Then during the evening there was an amazing henna ceremony. The mud-like henna dye was applied together by the bride's and groom’s mothers.
