Winery wedding in Austria

Katka and Jakob have decided to get married at Gut Oberstockstall, whose history dates back until 1150. The place was absolutely unique, and not just because there was a Gothic chapel right in the garden.

Summer is almost over and since there wasn’t many weddings this year, we’ve decided to show you some of 2019, when we were traveling a little bit more.

The ceremony took place later in the afternoon, which was quite appropriate thanks to the summer steam. The preparations and the course of the wedding were in a truly calm spirit, and this time the groom was more nervous than the bride.

The touching ceremony was traditionally followed by a photo shoot, when it was the turn of the brides' pink convoy.

The wedding did not have a strict program. Basically, people just ate, drank, played table football, and from time to time some of the guests made a toast. We really didn't feel that someone was bored and at the same time no one organized anything.

The evening party began with the first dance of the newlyweds, when they basically danced until the morning, which is probably the best proof that the wedding was a success and, most importantly, that it was fun.

Happy Anniversary!
